Comprehensive range of wall plate controllers
The ALLEN&HEATH PL Range of wall plates offer control of many functions within the iDR system.
The wall plate functions can be used to form a very simple level control or even more complex
controllers such as multiple level controls across a network
with MIDI show control and DMX lighting control.
The control of the system can be tailored for the users needs and almost every possible control option for a complete
integrated system can be achieved.
If you think you should be able to do it – you probably can with iDR – and control it with the PL Range.

PL-Anet
The PL-3 onwards makes use of a proprietary ALLEN&HEATH communication system –
PL-Anet – to communicate with the iDR’s.
PL-Anet uses an RS485 protocol over CAT5 cable.
Self-Addressing, Sensing and Powering Remotes
The PL-Anet bus has 20V phantom power running down the CAT5 cable – This allows
the system to “Self” – Power, Sense and Address the controllers saving the installer having
to setup each wall plate individually (dip switch addressing) and sourcing power from external
sources (e.g. wall-wart, transformer) – ultimately saving time and effort.
Ever Expanding System (Future Proof)
The iDR system is always growing and expanding due to consumer demand and feedback – this is also true with the PL range
of remote controllers – All of the controllers have been designed through user feedback and we are continually adding to the range.
As we continually update the iDR system (through free software updates) we also update the control system to make iDR and the
PL range one of the most flexible and easy to operate systems on the market to date.
