AUDIO FUNCTIONS

iDR has many audio functions built into the system. The audio path in iDR is minimised so that latency and audio quality are optimised. The internal DSP system is based on two Motorola processors. These processors are common in many other installation DSP systems but the code which controls these is often not as good as it could be.

ALLEN&HEATH have spent a great amount of time in developing and optimising the code to make it efficient and the audio quality as pristine as possible. In optimising the code the latency has been greatly reduced compared with many other systems on the market.

iDR is based around a 16x16 matrix which is where the 16 input channels can be routed/mixed to the 16 output channels.
